Wake Island is originally from Beirut, now based in Montréal. Through music, they reconcile their roots with their North American lives, from pop songs to electronic and ambient compositions. They have cemented their place in local Arab and Queer scenes with their shows, DJ sets and Laylit, a party they co-founded that celebrates music and artists from SWANA.
